"A Time to Live" takes a different approach, in which the choir performs a medley of well-known hymns, indicating the passing of the year. The section concludes with Holy Communion.
In "A Time to Die" a bereaved family sing of their grief, but also look to the hope of all Christians in the expectation of life to come. The funeral service concludes on a triumphal note.
