Because this musical is entirely sung, with no spoken dialogue, this is really a one-act opera for children telling the Greek Myth of Theseus and his venture to slay the Minotaur. It is set as eleven songs (or rather, ten songs and a dance) but when performed, the individual songs link straight through to become a continuous piece. While it tells the tale, it also introduces the idea of linked musical themes and motifs and has plenty of scope for drama, chorus and solo singing by children.
